Hi, I’m Esther and I’m the head, hands and heart behind herb & all. I’m an illustrator, designer, and - most importantly - plant-nut, and I’ve created a range of sustainable grow-your-own products with the aim to get you excited about growing plants to eat, drink, soothe, cleanse, and enjoy on a day to day basis.

I have a BA in Art and an MSc in Sustainability and this business is a combination of these passions: beautiful things that are good for the planet.

I'm very proud to be based in Wales, and have a beautiful studio and herb garden overlooking the Cleddau river in Pembrokeshire. My Welsh roots have inspired a range of Welsh botanical designs, exploring the historic role of herbs in Cymru, as well as lesser known Welsh plant names. All products are handmade by me (with help from family where needed!) using recycled materials and seeds from an organic producer in Cornwall.

In the past, humans had a strong relationship with plants and the natural world around them. Sadly, much of that has been lost and people are suffering from this weakened relationship, as well as the environment. Plants make us happy. It’s a fact. They also encourage healthier eating and spending more time outdoors, as well as providing nectar, food and habitats for other creatures like insects and pollinators.

My goal is to help strengthen this primal relationship by encouraging people to grow herbs and discover all that these amazing plants have to offer.
