According to 19th century Welsh folklore, placing rosemary by the front door prevented snakes from entering the house, as well as keeping witches away. The welsh name ysbwynydd means witch or sorcerer, and may refer to the plant’s seemingly magical ability to heal and protect.
At herb & all, we want to strengthen the connection between people and plants and share the fascinating histories herbs have to offer, as well as aromatic, practical and delicious uses for leaf, flower, root and seed.
