The Celtic cross is an ancient form of Christian cross with an additional ring surrounding the intersection of the arms and stem. Decorated with intricate interlacing Celtic knotwork it makes an ideal gift for both Church of England and Roman Catholic Christenings and Baptisms.
This Christening gift for girls or boys is designed to be used and enjoyed later in their adult life. The spoon comes with a ribbon tied certificate for the sender to add their own message.
Lead-free pewter is completely food friendly and the cross spoon can be used for coffee, tea, sugar or anything you want!
Variations
This item can be personalised. We can engrave up to 18 characters or spaces onto the back of the spoon and It’s up to you what you want! The words "On your Christening" are aso written on the back of the spoon.

The spoon is 10 cm (4") long. Two spoons are shown shown in the main picture to show the reverse, only one is supplied.

Each Glover and Smith design is handmade from solid polished lead-free pewter which is a non-tarnishing (that was the lead in old pewter) and completely food safe. Because we use solid metal the surface of your personalised Celtic Cross Christening spoon will never flake like a silver plated Christening spoon. To clean just wash with warm soapy water.
