Silver Topaz Ring

Eco silver, a supply of sterling silver made from recycled metals. The gemstone is a round cut Topaz in a tube setting. Topaz is the birthstone for November, and is associated with the constellation Sagittarius. Topaz is a silicate mineral that contains aluminium and flourine in its crystal structure, and it is naturally clear - slight impurities of other elements give it a range of beautiful colours. It is also one of the hardest naturally occuring gemstones!

English superstition held that topaz cured lunacy, and the ancient Romans believed that it protected against danger while traveling. During the Middle Ages, it was believed that attaching the topaz to the left arm protected the owner from curses! Topaz is thought to bring joy, forgiveness, abundance and good health. It is supposed to encourage relaxation and reduce tension. Blue topaz is believed to promote self expression, while Clear Topaz is said to help with healing and cleansing.
