These beautiful plush decorations are the perfect gift for any planet lover and make a wonderful focal point in any child's room. Mix and match a selection of planets to create a space scene, add stars to a fairy princess' castle or use the earth as part of an environmental display amongst house planets and educational books on conservation.
Each planet is completely hand sewn with beautifully appliqued fine felt details and a blanket stitched edging. They are flexible in use, hanging from picture hooks, off the edge of books, on a peg rail, as a shelf sitter or even as a flat lay prop.
These items are intended for decorative use only and not as a toy, therefore please keep out of reach of children.
Variations
The decorations in this collection include the Sun, Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune, with the dwarf planet Pluto, the moon and a set of two stars.
Each individual piece is available with cord as a hanging decoration or without cord as a shelf sitter. If buying multiples you can opt to have them threaded as a garland.
The planets are available ranging in size loosely based on scale in case you would like to use these for educational purposes. The best example of this is in the solar system garland which is also available in my shop.
The smaller sized planets are also available in a larger size.
Dimensions
The sizes in diameter are as follows: Moon and Pluto: 5cm or 8cm available, Mercury: 6cm or 8cm available, Venus, Mars and stars: 7cm, Earth and Neptune: 8cm, Jupiter: 9cm, Sun: 9.5cm, Uranus 12.5cm and Saturn 14.5cm at their widest point.
Made from
All of my decorations are made in my craft room at home using vegan friendly felt to make them inclusive and long lasting, using skills that I have developed over two decades working with textiles.
All of my products are for decorative use and are not intended as a toy. They should be kept out of reach of children.
