This personalised 40th birthday music print pictures a record collection showing the number one song on every birthday, from 1986 to the latest available birthday number one on the date you order. If the birthday is 29th April, for example, every number one song on every 29th April since 1986 appears on the print, in year order. A brilliant conversation starter, this print shows a whole lifetime of number one hit songs for anyone celebrating their 40th birthday!
An extra record shows the date (e.g. 29th April). You can add a personalised message to this record, which adds a nice, extra personal touch to your music gift. The extra record appears at the end of the row. If you'd prefer not to have a personalised message, we'll print the date on the extra record spine instead.
The standard print size for this print is 12x16 inches (close to A3 size) - we can't print smaller than this because there are so many records!
For orders where the birth date for age 40 is in the future, this print shows 40 records (for years 1986 to 2025, ages 0 to 39) plus an extra record for the date and personalised message. For orders where the birth date for age 40 is in the past, this print shows 41 records (for years 1986 to 2026, ages 0 to 40) plus an extra record for the date and personalised message. This print is designed for 40th birthdays but can also be used for any birthday from 38th to 42nd.
The colours, fonts and details of the record spines are not necessarily the same as the original record releases. The text printed on the record spines may be in lower or upper case.
VERY IMPORTANT NOTE! In very rare circumstances (e.g. where the artist name or song title includes language or a name that many people find offensive), we print the number one record for the year rather than the number one record for the date. If you'd rather have the actual artist name and song title for the date (including the offensive language in the song title or artist name), please let us know when you order.
