    Product description

Handmade and illustrated bowl, the perfect size for a pasta meal, stirfry or salad.

The series ‘Grasping the Orient’ was born from the visual and mental impact Japan had on me. Illustrated with a circle and cross imagery representing how experiences are carried with you throughout your life and never really have a cut off point, due to them infiltrating the past, present and future.

Using food safe glazes, these pieces interact with the different foods you place in them, or can stand as art pieces when no food is placed in them.

    Variations

The text featured on these pieces are lines from a poem I wrote when I returned from Japan. If you would like to ask for a particular line you can contact me via the 'Ask seller a question' button. If no preference is asked then I will choose for you.

    Dimensions

These medium bowls are dishwasher safe. Height: 7cm, Width: 22cm. (Approximate measurements as each is unique!)

    Made from

These bowls are ceramic and made from stoneware clay, and use food safe glazes.
