Cocoba is based in Kent, UK, and we make delicious chocolate products, including handmade chocolate bars, hot chocolate spoons and hot chocolate bombes.

The concept for the brand started with a memory. Cocoba’s founder, Darren, is from Australia where he grew up sharing delicious hot chocolates with his grandfather that he carefully made, not from powder, but using real, premium chocolate. When Darren came to the UK he could not find a chocolate drink that matched the one from his childhood, and so he decided to create it. Today the same love and care his grandfather put in to his hot chocolate can be found in every one of Cocoba’s products.

Cocoba first launched as a pop-up kiosk in a North London Shopping Centre in 2012, serving our signature hot chocolates and handmade chocolate treats. The kiosk quickly became so popular that, just over a year later, Darren took the plunge and opened the first Cocoba Chocolate Café in Bluewater Shopping Centre, Kent - now a much-loved independent gem renowned for its exceptional hot chocolates and irresistible chocolate desserts.

As word went round and the popularity of our cafe grew, so did our customers' love of our chocolate and hot chocolate products which we were making and decorating by hand behind the counter. In 2016, we opened our first production unit and warehouse, just down the road from the cafe, enabling us to finally offer our handmade chocolate treats to more than just a handful of customers!

Since then, we have seen our chocolate brand grow from strength to strength, evolving into the luxury chocolate gifting and hot chocolate experts we are today.
