A modern way to discover wine.

Vinito is a wine discovery brand created to make exploring great wine feel relaxed, accessible and genuinely enjoyable. We believe wine should fit around real life and not require specialist knowledge, a wine fridge or a special occasion. That’s why we focus on premium wines in cans, carefully curated from independent producers who are doing exciting things in the wine world.

How it all started:

Vinito began life in 2017 as Brixton Wine Club - a small, informal wine tasting club that started in a Brixton flat. Friends would gather every few weeks to try new wines together, guided more by curiosity than confidence. There were no spittoons, no intimidating terminology and definitely no raised pinky fingers. Just good wine, shared in good company. As those tastings grew, so did the idea behind them: that discovering wine should be fun, inclusive and pressure-free.

Why wine in cans?

Cans make wine discovery easier. They’re perfectly sized for one or two glasses, allowing people to explore more styles without opening full bottles or worrying about waste. They’re also lightweight, fully recyclable and ideal for modern lifestyles - whether that’s a picnic in the park, a midweek dinner or a relaxed night in. Smaller formats support a more mindful way of drinking, without sacrificing quality or flavour.

Curated with care

Every Vinito selection is curated around flavour, seasonality and drinkability. We work with producers who care deeply about how their wines are made, from thoughtful vineyard practices to minimal-intervention winemaking where possible. Selections change throughout the year to reflect how people actually drink, ensuring there’s always something fresh and exciting to discover.

Learning without the jargon

Education sits at the heart of Vinito, but always in a friendly, unintimidating way. Every box includes tasting notes written in plain English by our founder Louisa, to help customers understand what they’re drinking, build confidence and discover what they enjoy. No jargon. No judgement. Just helpful guidance, if you want it.

Meet Louisa

Vinito was founded by Louisa, who created the brand to challenge the idea that wine needs to be complicated, exclusive or intimidating.

Like many people, Louisa found the traditional wine world overwhelming at times - full of jargon, rules and expectations. Vinito was built to strip that away and make wine feel more welcoming, relaxed and enjoyable.

Before Vinito became a business, it began as a simple wine tasting club between friends. Those informal tastings revealed a common feeling: people wanted to learn about wine, but without the pressure to sound knowledgeable or “get it right”.

Louisa saw an opportunity to reimagine wine discovery - focusing on enjoyment first, learning second, and removing unnecessary barriers along the way.

Since launching, Vinito (formerly Brixton Wine Club) has been recognised by publications including Stylist, Red Magazine and the Evening Standard, and has been featured among the UK’s best wine clubs.
