Delicate necklace made from real baby sycamore seeds.
This unusual necklace is made from the seeds of a London sycamore tree. Hung on fine sterling silver chain, the necklace has two tiny sycamore seeds at each end. The delicate silver chain allows the seeds to move and twist with the wearer, as if still suspended from their original hanging branch.
There is no fastening on the necklace; it is fixed by looping one end round the chain, similar to a scarf. This allows the sycamore seeds to be worn at different heights from each other, while the weight of the seeds prevents the loop from un-tying.
Suitable for everyday wear or kept for special occasions.
Packaged beautifully and ready to give as a gift in a jewellery box tied with ribbon.
Variations
The standard chain length is 60cm but this necklace can be made for any requested chain length. Please select the 'bespoke' option in the option menu if a non-standard chain length is required. You can message me with your chain length via the 'order enquiry' button once you have made your order.
