Because animals are people too - aren't they?

Painting animals doing things, and sometimes doing nothing; Becci is an artist who spends her days watching animal documentaries and then imagining the lives they lead off camera.

Inspired by evolution, fairytales, and what could be - her paintings begin their lives scribbled in a little green notebook waiting to be brought to life using watercolour, ink and a tiny paintbrush.

When Becci isn't painting; she spends her time thinking about painting, eating peanut butter and banana sandwiches, and making quite bad wine. She has an ever-growing collection of faux animal heads and a dog called Steve, who lives in a teepee and hoards half eaten carrots.
