Diwali Lantern Diya Design Centrepiece

Diwali is a joyful celebration of light. Plastic and paper lanterns - ‘kandeels’ - and traditional clay oil lamps -‘diyas’ - are illuminated in the doorways of people’s homes, on terraces, in lanes and around temples. These Diwali lanterns are a modern interpration of these traditional lanterns. These Diwali Decorations come in several shades, including Bright gold, Old Gold or Silver. These are designed to be used with battery operated lights - so much safer than real flames around kids or pets. Flameless candles (battery powered LED candles) are recommended as the luminaries are not flame resistant, not provided with this product.

Our paper luminary lanterns are posted to you flat, with adhesive backing on one edge. All you will need to do is peel off the adhesive backing, roll the luminary into a cylinder and stick one side to the other. Roll the velllum sheet and slide it in - it will uncurl beautifully - Once assembled they are self standing cylinders, just pop over a battery-operated tea light candle and watch it glow!
