These original leather books are handmade in our Sussex bookbinding workshop from recycled leather and engraved with a beautiful branch of sakura cherry blossom and can be personalised with your name or message in a range of fonts at the bottom right of the book, album or diary. Please add date if required for diary on the same line.
They make wonderful eco friendly gifts for all those who love the simple beauty of japanese design and are well loved by creative souls worldwide... for writing, sketching and treasuring forever!

A name or brief one line message can be engraved at the base of the book, please order this option if required.
Engraving is is a very attractive and highly effective long lasting inscription in the leather cover. We offer three fine fonts for the personalisation bottom right which we'll scale to fit the line: elegant, bold classic and modern style.
The original refillable Artbox elastic binding is a smart development of a traditional japanese binding style. The high quality writing and sketching paper and board is made in England. Refills are available. Diaries are day to page traditionally bound.

Books: Approx 100 sheets of high quality 100g recycled paper or 30 sheets of 300g British made recycled board.
Made from
Books: with plain white paper or board portrait or landscape ideal for writing or sketching. The portrait books are filled with 100 sheets of 100g paper for writing or sketching and the landscape and square books with 30 sheets of white board for use as a scrapbook album or sketchbook. Refills are available as well as black card inners if required at Artbox Basic Books and Refills.
All notebooks, sketch books and albums fold completely flat for ease of use and the durable recycled leather covers can be readily refilled with recycled paper for many years of creativity and enjoyment! The medium lined journal and day to page diary are traditionally bound.
Please order gift wrapping if you would like us to send directly to recipient. Smaller books are wrapped in gift envelopes and larger items are gift wrapped with strong kraft paper, twine and leather tag.
