Botanical Illustration Card - Syringa Vulgaris - Lilac
Inspired by botanical field notes and vintage apothecary style.
These cards would make a lovely gift. A great set to keep on hand for emergencies too for nearly missed birthdays, engagements, regrets, weddings, or my favourite - just to say "hello".
Eight designs, each with a 100% recycled brown ribbed envelope.
All cards are printed in house (trimmed and folded by my own loving hands) on thoughtfully selected 100% recycled card stock.
We have a small Lilac tree in the garden. Surprisingly it is part of the olive family, native to the Balkan Peninsula, where it grows on rocky hills. They were introduced into northern European gardens at the end of the 16th century, from Ottoman gardens and thought that the Persian lilac had been introduced into English gardens by John Tradescant the elder (c. 1570s – 1638, of Tradescantia fame).
Greetings (folded card) A6 - 10.5cm wide x 14.85cm high.
Blank for your own words.
Printed trimmed and packaged in house on 100% recycled card stock teamed with a 100% recycled brown ribbed envelope.
