Chunky, Fabric Bead Necklace 'Urchin'

This design is called 'Urchin' and is inspired by sea urchin shells.

The necklace comes in a black, luxury presentation box, making it a perfect gift.

Each necklace is made from recycled swatches of silk-cotton fabric and is 100% handmade by me, the designer. Each piece takes around an hour and a half to create, from cutting the fabric, stitching it to contain the beads, and individually hand sewing each bead in with cotton embroidery thread.

When each fabric swatch is recycled it makes only two necklaces. There are variations between the two depending on how the fabric has been cut, so your necklace may not exactly match the photos; however it will be very similar.

This is a truly unique piece of jewellery, no one will have one the same! I have a number of designs and colours listed separately, so please browse my Not on the High Street store, to see if any catch your eye.

If you are interested in particular colours, send me a message and I can let you know if I have recycled fabric in stock that matches your needs. If we identify something you like, I can make you up a bespoke piece usually within 48 hours. Alternatively, for very special events like weddings and parties, I can print any colour and design you need to match your colour scheme. This highly personalised service takes around 6 weeks.
