Variations
The blanket is made in squares and then sewn all together to make the geometric design.
The blanket is made in our lovely Utterly Aran Yarn which is a pleasure to work with. You can also choose the 2 colours for the design which can be made in the colours of your favourite room.
We also have a geometric cushion in this range which you can see here
Each kit contains:
– 18 balls of Utterly Aran Yarn in main colour which includes the border
– 16 balls of Utterly Aran Yarn in the secondary colour
– Darning Needle
– Geometric Blanket Pattern
– Optional 5mm knitting needles
The knitting kit comes in our beautifully branded presentation box, finished with a pink bow.
Skill level: Intermediate
We have classed this kit as intermediate as there’s quite a bit of knitting involved, in reality the stitches are quite simple and this would be a perfect project to involve the whole family as the blanket is made in squares and then assembled.
Care Instructions: Machine washable.
The stitches used in the pattern: knit stitch, increasing and decreasing.
The picture shows the blanket made in wheat and grey mist.
