Our AWARD WINNING forest chestnuts are candied in syrup over a period of 240 hours. Somewhere along this unhurried process a hint of vanilla is added transformng them into prime Marron Glacé. The sublte flavours linger in the mouth as a gentle reminder of the glorious feast you've just eaten.
Originating in Europe during the 16th century when sugar was used as a natural preservative. The production process has changed very little over the centuries. Although we vacuum seal them to retain their freshness and flavour.
Hand packed in the UK in our bespoke gift boxes and finished with signature ribbon. Complimentary gift wrapping available.
Variations
Suitable for vegan, vegetarian, gluten free and halal diets. We consider them to be the ultimate nutty yet sweet treat. Ideal with to be served at the end of a meal with a hot drink or to be enjoyed with a glass of wine. A conniseurs choice.
