Timeless jewellery ethically and hand-crafted in Hatton Garden

It was during a visit to a jewellery workshop, Mike Van Buskirk first absorbed the creative atmosphere and buzz of a Hatton Garden jewellers. Here he realised he had stumbled upon a trade perfectly suited for him, uniting his fine art background and (somewhat geeky) childhood love of model-making. The design and production of beautiful items on a miniature scale was to become his passion.

Whilst finishing a degree in Jewellery and Silversmithing at the Sir John Cass Faculty of Art in London, Mike began working for several leading jewellery houses, honing his skills under the watchful gaze of master goldsmiths.

Van Buskirk Jewellery was first established in 1998 in a workshop in Hatton Garden, London's historic diamond and jewellery district. Since then establishing a reputation for creating high quality pieces using the finest techniques of traditional craftsmanship. His workshop is now based in the unique Goldsmith’s Centre in London, a community of allied trades people.

Inspiration for bespoke and personalised jewellery designs come from both Mike's own creativity and specific client requests.

Van Buskirk Jewellery aims to be as environmentally friendly as possible. All gemstones are ethically and locally sourced in Hatton Garden and up to 95% of the metal used is recycled or fair-trade. All hallmarking is by the The Goldsmiths' Company , London Assay Office.

Van Buskirk Jewellery believe in making customers happy by providing not only high quality pieces but also a friendly service.
