Handmade Objects for Everyday Use
Utology is a design brand and workshop, creating handmade objects for everyday use. The name is a nod to the word utility, as we believe in designing products which are inherently useful, now, and in years to come by focusing on functionality.
Storage and organisation are key themes in our product development, as we aim to create solutions to some of life's everyday tasks in the home and office.
The business was founded by Dan Hoolahan in 2015. Dan is still the designer and maker behind all products as they are produced to order from his woodworking workshop in Liverpool.
Our customers often buy our pieces as housewarming or wedding gifts, or simply for themselves at home.
Our products are handmade from beautiful hardwoods such as oak, ash and walnut, occasionally incorporating brass and felt.
