Set in the peaceful hills of the Calder Valley near Hebden Bridge, this alpaca experience for two offers a chance to meet and interact with a small herd of charming alpacas at West Yorkshire Alpacas.
On arrival, you’ll be introduced to Freddy, Pierre, Roman, Wigbert and Emperor, each with their own distinct personality. After a safety briefing, you will learn how to put on their halters and get to know your chosen alpacas properly, finding out more about their habits, quirks and care.
There is plenty of time to feed, stroke and interact with them, as well as capture photos with these gentle animals. You’ll also be able to feel their famously soft fleece up close while enjoying the calm, rural setting and wide open views of the surrounding countryside.
