Share a creative experience together with this private pottery wheel throwing workshop for two at The Scarborough Pottery studio. Whether it’s for a birthday, anniversary, date idea or simply time well spent together, this two-hour session offers the chance to slow down, make something by hand and enjoy trying something new.
Hosted by Taylor Shaw Ceramics in a peaceful studio setting near the coast, the experience is designed to suit complete beginners as well as those with some pottery experience, as it is a private session the tuition can be tailored to the participants experience. With friendly, expert guidance throughout, both participants will learn the basics of wheel throwing, shaping and creating their own ceramic pieces.
There’s plenty of individual support and a relaxed atmosphere, making it easy to enjoy the process and get creative. After the session, each person can choose their preferred glaze and leave their work to be professionally glazed and fired, ready to collect around three weeks later or arrange postage for an additional charge.
