Sachiko's background as a design journalist allowed her to travel and meet many talented artists around the globe, and nourished her love of beautiful objects made by hand with brave creative minds and fine craftsmanship.

two persimmons' focus is on the lifestyle with functional art, which bridges the boundary between practical utility ware and objets d'art. Some of our items seem to be too beautiful or delicate to use every day. But they are powerful enough to hold your emotion indefinitely.

Most of our items are made by independent artists and are one-of-a-kind. Some items are small-batch studio productions. They all reflect the makers' thoughts rather than the demands of a mass-market.
