Description

Made with the pattern of a Fraakta IKEA bag from pre-loved fabrics. I have kept the mass produced IKEA handles for a jaunty contrast as well as sturdiness. The photos show the front and back views - as the fabric is different on both sides and also the lining, as these can be reversed too. I've also included photos of the sides where the two (or more) fabrics meet. The base is vibrant orange and partially waterproof. Every seam is double stitched and the bag can take a weight in excess of 10k.

This is part of a set of 20 bags made this season from vinatge fabrics. Each is a bespoke, hand-made individual piece.

Made from

They have been hand made in a tiny factory in London using fabrics from vintage clothes and furnishings, which have been thoroughly washed. A mixture of cottons, silks, corduroys, wools and denims.
