This range of string bags are dyed using natural organic materials such as pomegranate, sea salt and the madder plant. Why are natural dyes better? Our natural vegetable dyes are non toxic and biodegradable. We love using them as they create less water pollution, are skin friendly and as an added bonus the solid waste produced can be turned into natural compost.
In the absence of the chemical mordants the vegetable dyes will fade in time and may stain light coloured clothing. As a precaution it is advisable to wash before use.
