I create journals from vintage books; rebinding some of the original pages with 100gsm plain paper and encased in the original spine. I hand chose my books and they are always one-off creations; however I welcome commissions! If you are looking for a special gift for someone who you know has a favourite author, or certain theme, I can source something extra personal for you. I also handmake wedding guest books in the same way, using wedding related vintage books as a base, and customising them by hand-embossing and stamping. I can also incorporate personal items into the book, including maps, wedding invites and personal notes.

The vintage novels I use are ones that need repairing, revamping and loving again. Ones that often have spines falling off and pages falling out, but have tangible history to them where you can trace their past through annotations and well-thumbed pages. What I do is give these books a chance to exist again in a usable capacity, to be looked at and appreciate on a daily basis, whilst inspiring their owner to write more.
