This beautifully gift wrapped Pear tree comes with a personalised brass Partridge to hang from the tree and make such a special Christmas gift!
Inspired by the much loved song, ’The Twelve Days of Christmas’ this Partridge in a Pear Tree gift is traditionally given on the first day of Christmas. Since ancient times the Pear tree has symbolised good health and future happiness.
All our trees are organically nurtured here in The Present Tree's gardens. When you place your order a beautiful Pear tree will be freshly selected by our devoted gardeners before being wrapped in organza and placed in its parcel with a shiny, solid brass Partridge decoration inscribed with your chosen name.
A gold embossed Partridge in a Pear Tree card with ‘The Twelve Days of Christmas’ song, your personal gift message, the story of the Pear tree's ancient symbolism and a full care guide are also enclosed with your gift.
The Present Tree never, ever uses harmful chemicals, just an organic blend that's wonderful for you, your tree, our wildlife and the planet. This Pear tree (Pyrus communis) is growing in an organic pot filled with top-notch compost, so no green fingers are required, just add natural daylight and water. We have also added the perfect balance of nourishment which is slowly released to ensure your tree continues to flourish.
This slender deciduous tree naturally transforms with every season. In spring the delicate white flowers blossom with a wonderful fragrance loved by bees. The abundance of fresh leaves are perfect for birds to safely make their nests in summer. Then in autumn dainty pears ripen before its leaves turn pale yellow and fall.
Please note: Your Pear tree will remain dormant all winter until the warmth of our spring sunshine encourages new buds to grow.
All The Present Tree's products and packaging are 100% biodegradable, compostable, reusable or recyclable.
Your parcel travels in a clear eco bag so the couriers and recipients are aware a living tree is inside and it must be opened as soon as possible.
Your Pear tree will happily grow in its organic pot for the next few weeks, just place it in a sheltered spot in the garden, even in cold weather. Plant your tree, still in its organic pot so the roots are not disturbed, in a large flower pot (one with holes for drainage) or in a sunny spot in the garden.
The luxury parcel is 50cm high and 10cm diameter. The total height of this tree is 30-40cm. Your Pear tree can be pruned in autumn and may reach a height of 3 metres in 10 years, if allowed to grow naturally.
