Simply push the stake about 30cm into the soil leaving approx 70cm above ground for an eyecatching display.

The copper will in time turn to a verdigris green colour - this can take 1-2 years depending on where it is situated. To keep them shiny you could try a copper cleaner or varnish them annually with clear varnish but please note that once they are exposed to the elements it is likely that oxidisation will take place.
