The Happy Book Company makes beautiful children's books that inspire young people to choose happiness, no matter what happens.

Hello, my name is Tessa Cobb and I am the founder of The Happy Book Company, based in Bath UK.

I write and illustrate beautiful books about awesome animals and astronauts. They go on adventures to find out how to choose happiness for themselves, even when everything goes wrong. My characters learn about the power of human connection, perseverance, pride, trust an self-love...all vital ingredients in the recipe for true happiness.

Being on a happiness mission myself, I started making children's books when I finally decided to live a fun, creative and fulfilling life.

I grew up in the countryside and I would spend hours making comics, scrap books and illustrated stories to make sense of the world around me, and bring it to life.

Now I get to spend all day keeping my inner 5 year old very happy, learning new ways to tell my stories. My primary mission in life is to be happy, and it makes me extremely happy to share these books with you.
