The Foragers Cottage is a sustainable lifestyle brand based in rural England, curating and creating items that are built to last.
In a world consumed by expendable, 'built-to-break' items, we wanted to make a difference. Our collection is built to last, uses micro-scale production and takes inspiration from the natural world around us.
We commission talented artists (see the prints on the Wheat Fields Bread Bag and Fairtrade Grocery Bags) and create one-of-a-kind wooden items using wood sourced from local Sussex sawmills.
Why The Foragers Cottage?
Sustainability - every item has been meticulously designed to use only the most sustainable fabrics, materials and labour. Including Fairtrade, GOTS certified organic cotton, eco-friendly water-based inks, and wood from ethically managed forests.
One-of-a-kind - we curate and create every item ourselves, commissioning talented artists and carpenters to create unique pieces of art.
No toxins - our wooden collection is finished with a blend of eco-friendly, food-safe plant oils and waxes, and our cotton bags are unbleached - printed by hand using water-based inks.
