Description

Take control as pilot of the Queen of the Skies, the world's most loved aircraft, the 747 in our state of the art simulator.Everybody learns at different rates and have different levels of ability so your experience will be tailored to your needs. Your instructor will spend 5 minutes or so going through the basic controls and instruments, getting you to handle them to get a feel for how they work. The experience can include multiple take offs, landings, some emergency scenarios or why not go sightseeing by flying under the golden gate bridge, over Manhattan, try a Kai Tak approach or a sully Hudson landing! Come prepared and advise your instructor on arrival what you would like to do within your timeslot!

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

Experience available 9am-9pm every day subject to availability based at Barton Aerodrome, Manchester M30 7SA
- For one adult, additional can be purchased directly on booking a time slot with us
You do not need to bring anything with you other than wear comfortable clothes for sitting in the simulator. It is fixed base so does not move. Just give your name on arrival
Not suitable to bring wheelchairs into the cockpit as they will not fit through the original cockpit door width. A wheelchair can however be brought into the aircraft cabin. Those who find moving images difficult it may not be suitable for due to the outside of the cockpit being recreated via projector screens.

A genuine ex British Airways Boeing 747-400 Top Deck. This experience is for one person, additional people can be added to share the flying or spectate when booking a date. If the experience is for someone under 16, at least one add on must be purchased directly with The Deck 747 on booking the date. Prices start at £20 depending on simulator session length.
