We are Stine and Nicoline, two friends from Denmark. We’ve spent the last 15 years, working crying and laughing together, and build the Danes in order to help create Hygge in the Scandinavian way of life. Our focus being bringing the seasons, nature, greater sustainability and creativity to everyday life.
We work and ship everything from our offices in Sussex, taking inspiration from our Scandinavian roots and nature around us.
Hygge in its true'st form is a feeling that can't easily be described, and whilst it’s that feeling of contentment you have when you’re snuggled up with the family by the fire, it is so much more. It changes with the seasons and its light.
Hygge is about creating special and memorable moments every day, just by paying a bit more attention to the details that can change the ordinary and everyday moments. We take the ordinary and aim to make it extraordinary by designing and stocking products to help you make this happen.

A great selection of eco friendly and recyclable gift wrap, paper decorations, quality eco home products and tableware, as well as our unique creative and crafty kits and gift sets.
We love to encourage our customers to think about what they are buying and how to creatively use and reuse these.
