Seriously sciency hands-on fun for kids, delivered!

Founded by biochemist and BBC science communicator, Renee Watson, The Curiosity Box came about after Renee set herself on a mission to give 1 million children a wonder-filled experience of science. Having spent most of her career working with scientists, universities and research charities, to help them engage with the public in creative ways, Renee was tired of hearing parents and their children say "I thought science was boring but this was FUN!" So she decided to do something about it.

...and so, The Curiosity Box was born! Our aim is to pack curiosity-led learning into Boxes of fun, hands-on science and engineering activities for children aged 4-12 yrs. Reaching children at home as well as sending STEM Day in a Box kits to schools, we want young people to feel confident to explore and discover science in their every day. We feature young, diverse role models in every Box, as well as collectable lab kit so children can build their own home lab!

Because we believe that science belongs to EVERYONE!
