Official Harry Potter 3D Sorting Hat Keyring

The Sorting Hat decides which house every first year belongs to at Hogwarts, and now it can help keep your keys in order too. This 3D Sorting Hat is finished in silver tone with detailed folds and creases, hanging from a key ring with a lobster clip.

Supplied on Harry Potter branded card packaging. Officially licensed and suitable for ages 14 and up.

The Sorting Hat once belonged to Godric Gryffindor, and it sings a new song at the start of every school year before the first years are sorted. Harry famously asked it not to put him in Slytherin, and the hat listened. Years later, Dumbledore told him that choice said far more about him than any of his abilities.

The hat plays a bigger part than most people remember. Gryffindor's sword came out of it twice, once for Harry in the Chamber of Secrets and once for Neville during the final battle, when he used it to destroy Nagini. It's a fun bit of trivia to have ready when someone asks why there's a hat on your keys.

This keyring is a handy gift when you don't know which house a friend says they belong to. It's also a nice one for a group of friends to swap at the end of term, or to give a new student before their first day, so the hat can sort out where their keys end up.
