Deciding to steer away from just the ‘usual’ cupcake decorating and pizza making classes, this fun cooking workshop offers kids a range of more useful recipes, techniques and tastes to get stuck into (of course, a cupcake here and there never goes amiss!)

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

Each session will cover a different dish or cuisine; this is shown when booking, but feel free to get in touch if you have any questions.

If your child has any food allergies please ask us before booking so we can let you know if we can cater for them.

Knowledge required: Beginner Friendly

Duration: 3 hours

Participants: 1-30

Age: 8-16 and parents can book as well. For those younger, they will need to be accompanied by a parent (who will need to book their own spot)

Please note: Knives and Hot surfaces will be in use.

You'll get: Aprons for the duration of the class, All ingredients included, Food to indulge in at the end of class or take home

What to bring: Tupperware to take any food home, Paper and pen if you’d like to take notes

Each class, kids will cook in pairs or as teams and will whip up their very own tasty dish to either eat in our kitchen or take home.

The London cooking classes begin with a short demonstration from one of The Avenue's experienced chefs, displaying what will be cooked during the class, followed by hands-on cooking for the participants to put their newly found culinary skills to the test.

Guidance and support will be offered throughout from your friendly, laid back and dedicated chefs, but all kids will get the chance to get their hands dirty – after all what’s a better way to learn?
