If you want to sharpen up your knife skills in the kitchen then come along to this knife skills class.
Under the expert tutelage of one of The Avenue's top chefs, you'll learn everything you need to know about those all-important knives and how to properly use and look after them like a top chef.
After a warm welcome and a glass of wine, this London cooking class will start with an informative yet fun demonstration. Your resident chef and knife pro will teach you how to slice, peel, chop, purée, julienne, chiffonade, concasse and segment – skills that will set you up for any eventuality - and for preparing the evening’s three-course meal!
The menu has specifically been chosen to showcase a range of different knife techniques, but don’t worry - your friendly chef will be there to guide you in the right direction and answer any questions you have.
To give you plenty of time to focus on developing your knife skills, your expert teachers will cook and serve each dish. By the end of this fascinating cooking class in London, you'll know how to use essential kitchen knives well, and you'll have the skills you need to practise at home and perfect your techniques, making your food taste great and look fantastic.
Once the knives are put away and the cooking is done, you'll have the opportunity to sit down with your fellow apprentices and enjoy your delicious handiwork - with more wine for good measure!
