Text From A Friend

Creators of fine anti-social media.

Hey there.

I'm a freelance Art Director based in Glasgow. Since graduating from Glasgow School Of Art I've worked on many brands, big and small, won a few awards and always had a love of paper, pencils and the smell of print.

Text From A Friend started when I was heartily amused by the text messages some of my friends sent me. I scribbled their quips, posted them on social media. And so began requests to turn them into cards and posters.

I've never been one to produce a paper product without using the finest of materials and always ensure the best quality for each of my products.

The phrases are initially hand drawn and digitised then metal dies are made for each one. I use only the poshest of paper and a hand traditional printing technique with a hot foil press to create fine pieces of (sometimes) anti-social media.
