About Tales by Mail

Award-winning book subscription box for adventurous young readers!

We are Kate (holding the orange box) and Libby (with the stack of books) - best friends, total book geeks and the founders of the award-winning book subscription for kids, Tales by Mail.

We both fell in love with reading at a young age. Our love of books has always allowed us to explore new worlds, sparked our imaginations, widened our vocabulary and introduced us to characters we would never meet in real life. Through Tales by Mail, our mission is to instil the same sense of curiosity and wonder of books into the next generation of book-lovers.

As former booksellers (with over 15 years working in bookshops) and as the owners of another successful book subscription service for young adults, we've got tonnes of book knowledge and subscription box curating experience, making us the perfect team to create exciting surprise parcels for your young readers.

Please note that shipping times are estimated. All products are posted via Royal Mail second class. We pack and dispatch orders every Wednesday and Friday.

Please note if you order a subscription, your parcel will be posted in line with the next subscription send out. We are a bi-monthly subscription box, with parcels posting in February, April, June, August, October & December. Subscription parcels are typically sent out around the 10th of the month.

If you order a subscription and another item, your ready-to-go items will be sent straight away, separately from your subscription box/es.
