Specialist ceramics tasters in Yorkshire.
Hands-on sessions provide insight into a selection of techniques and processes and are designed to introduce beginners and enhancers to advanced working methods and practices. Our tasters are perfect for anyone wanting an attentive experience in an informal environment.
Sunken Studio specialise in handbuilding and focus each package around a family of techniques. We cover the basics but also introduce more advanced methods of making to help introduce good practice and refine crafting sensibilities.
Come and celebrate a special event or reward great work. Our packages are social, experiential and material – we work hard to ensure you have an enjoyable time whilst learning new skills and making beautiful things to keep or share.
All packages include access to a wide range of custom-made tools and resources.
All experiences are designed and delivered by, award winning ceramicist, Rebecca Catterall.
Sunken Studio was setup by ceramicist Rebecca Catterall in September 2016. Rebecca has been working with clay for over 25 years. She has exhibited her work nationally and internationally and has received several prizes and awards. Rebecca is a fully qualified and experienced tutor. She has devised and delivered creative programs in a range of educational settings, both formal and informal.
