Each personalised decal is precision-cut from premium ORACAL® self-adhesive film, selected according to the chosen colour and finish. Only the individually cut lettering remains once applied, so there is no printed rectangular background around the design.
Metallic finishes are made using ORACAL® 351 premium metallised polyester film, while solid colour finishes are made using ORACAL® 651 polymer PVC film.
ORACAL® 351 is a metallised polyester (PET) film with permanent adhesive and excellent dimensional stability. It is specifically developed for computer-controlled cutting systems and is well suited to decorative lettering and detailed designs.
ORACAL® 651 is a durable 0.07mm partially polymer PVC film with permanent adhesive and a smooth matt or gloss finish. It is designed for cut lettering, markings and decorative applications and is suitable for indoor and outdoor use.
Each decal is supplied with transfer tape to help position and apply the lettering accurately.
Application and care: Apply at a temperature of at least 10°C to a clean, completely dry, smooth and non-porous surface. Position the decal, press firmly across the lettering, smooth over the complete design and slowly peel away the transfer tape.
For curved surfaces such as baubles or glasses, apply gradually from the centre outwards.
The adhesive is permanent, so removal without residue cannot be guaranteed on every surface. Test delicate, painted or unfamiliar surfaces first.
For drinkware, apply to the exterior only and keep away from the drinking rim and food-contact areas. Hand washing is recommended to help preserve the decal.
Do not apply to skin. Keep away from open flames and high heat. This is a decorative item and not a toy; keep small pieces away from young children.
Stickers are sold by approximate overall length and are available from 5cm to 30cm.
The selected size refers to the approximate width of the finished wording. The final height varies according to the number of characters and proportions of the lettering.
As a guide:
• 5–8cm diameter bauble – choose approximately 5cm• 10–13cm diameter bauble – choose approximately 8cm• 15–20cm diameter bauble – choose approximately 10cm• Champagne flutes and wine glasses – approximately 5–8cm• Christmas crackers – approximately 8–10cm• Envelopes and cards – approximately 8–13cm
