About
Step into my Imaginary world
I am a British Asian artist based in London focusing on creating oil pastel Artwork inspired by my Indian heritage. I recently received my masters in Architecture and my artwork focuses on the creation of make-belief architectural landscapes that encase my memories of India displaying traditional tectonics found in Indian architecture, and a focus on Indian women. These pieces are an escape from the mundane of everyday lives and a transportation into the fantastical. Within each piece of artwork I have used elements from my own Indian upbringing within the UK to create a new landscape which straddles these two worlds. A place to come home too.
