Songs of Ink and Steel is a small independent jewellery brand based in the UK, creating meaningful pieces with a distinctive blend of timeless elegance and artistic character. Behind the name is our two-person team, a silversmith and an engraver, working closely together to make, personalise and carefully prepare every order.

Being a small brand shapes everything we do. There is no distant production line and no anonymous process. Each piece passes through our hands, from its initial preparation and finishing to the engraving, final checks and packaging. We notice the little details because we understand that, for our customers, the jewellery often represents something much bigger than the piece itself.

An engraving may be only a few carefully placed words, a name, a date or a set of initials, but its meaning can be immeasurable. It might remember someone deeply missed, mark the beginning of a new chapter, celebrate a birth or anniversary, thank a person who has always been there, or preserve a private message known only to the giver and the wearer. These personal stories are at the heart of what we do.
