Something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue and a silver sixpence in her shoe is the inspiration behind my brand.

Old traditions revisited for today's bride, vintage styles made for the modern bride using sustainable materials and fully sustainable practices

My range of thoughtful gifts incorporates real and restored "something old" lucky horseshoes, personalised with names and wedding dates. Vintage lace garters lovingly handmade and adorned with a touch of "something blue" sitting in personalised hand calligraphy name boxes and little sixpences in pretty lace pouches that can be carried for luck on your wedding day.

If you are looking to finish off your look I also have a range of veils and headwear, be it full length or a quirky birdcage veil, statement headband or a subtle beaded comb. I design, source and make these all myself

I am Nicola, a wife, mother and daughter originally from the midlands but adopted by the great city of Manchester. I have been designing and hand making these pieces since 2010 after leaving my career in fashion buying to be at home with my children more. From my kitchen table, to a spare room, to a now purpose built garden studio the business has evolved alongside me over the years. It will always retain its core values I hold dear and be made by me no matter what evolves next.
