At Silver Birch Jewellery, every piece begins with a story.
Founded by jeweller Amy Stevenson, the brand is inspired by the natural beauty she discovers not only in the landscape around her, but within the vintage silverware she so carefully sources. The flowing lines, engraved florals, feathered edges and organic patterns already etched into each piece reflect the quiet poetry of nature itself. These inherited details, shaped long ago by skilled hands, inspire collections that are rich in texture, story, and timeless character.
Silver Birch Jewellery is built on the belief that beauty lies in history and craftsmanship. What once graced a table now tells a new story, reborn as wearable jewellery. Each piece begins as vintage silverware, carefully sourced and thoughtfully selected. Through a meticulous process of shaping, forming, polishing, and refining by hand, Amy transforms heirloom spoons and forgotten forks into meaningful jewellery that carries echoes of the past and a spirit of renewal.
Inspired by the silver birch tree, a symbol of resilience and regeneration, the brand celebrates sustainability, heritage, and the artistry of reimagining what already exists. Like nature itself, metal can always take new form.
Amy studied Jewellery and Metalwork at Sheffield Hallam University, where she developed both her technical skills and her creative voice. Blending her passion for design with the textures, shapes, and patterns found in trees, seeds, flowers, and birds, she has created a much-loved brand known for its distinctive and enduring pieces.
Her work is also shaped by the thrill of discovery. Antique shops, craft markets, and hidden corners filled with forgotten treasures have become part of her creative process. There, she seeks out lost and unloved silverware and cutlery, objects rich with history and carefully transforms them into beautiful jewellery with a new chapter to tell.
At Silver Birch Jewellery, every piece carries a past, a present, and a promise of renewal.
Give your jewellery a second life story.
