Hello! My name is Rianna and I am the Founder and Designer of Sabi Sekko. I live in North Derbyshire and I am mum to two beautiful boys.

After 4 years as a stay-at-home mum, I wanted to put my creativity and love of interiors and design to use. I founded Sabi Sekko with the simple goal of creating beautiful pieces for people’s homes that are eco-friendly, durable and unique.

The name Sabi Sekko is derived from the Japanese concept of wabi-sabi; the view that there is beauty in every aspect of imperfection. It also teaches that there is beauty in simplicity and, as with many traditional Japanese aesthetics, that there is beauty in acceptance.

Wabi-sabi aesthetics include asymmetry, simplicity and the economical. Principles that have guided our brand to design the products you see today.
