We are a family team designing and manufacturing durable, functional, fun and extremely useful lifestyle products, inspired by our experience of family life and a love of the outdoors.

With children in tow we were constantly carrying big, bulky bags of snacks, changing clothes and toys. Our traditional picnic blanket was heavy and difficult to wash and dry so we'd usually opt to travel without it. For a while we tried using a tarp but that was hot and sticky or cold and uncomfortable. So we got to thinking. What if we could create a mat that would be both comfortable and waterpoof... but also lightweight and compact enough to always have with you? We combined our experience and knowledge gained from running a creative marketing agency with a passion for good, outdoor technical gear to create PACMAT.
