Hi! I am Chandra, the owner of Royal Mile Silver – welcome to my shop and my story.
I have travelled the world from Tiznit to Timbuktu, Chiang Mai to Jaipur – designing and sourcing unique jewellery, using the highest quality materials. I trade ethically – directly with local artisans, offering them a fair price for their work. Borne from a love of travelling and playing music, from a keen interest in anthropology of tribal peoples and their silver art, and a love of connecting with people and their stories.
Royal Mile Silver was born on a market stall in 1993 at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, where I began offering unique sterling silver jewellery that I had personally sourced. In 2001, I moved my operations to the iconic Royal Mile in Edinburgh, a World Heritage Site, where my collection grew to encompass not only beautiful designer pieces but also traditional Celtic designs, each one ethically sourced and carefully crafted.
I now offer an extensive range of jewellery with something to suit all tastes and budgets – from unique designer products to Celtic designs.
