I make whimsical slab built ceramics, which are hand painted and embellished with gold.

Making my ceramics through a slab building technique enables me to create unusual and organic shapes with clay. I am inspired by the idea that functional items don't have to be ordinary, and intends for her ceramics to be used everyday and not just to be decorative, but functional too. They are all food safe and waterproof.

I graduated at University of the Arts London, in Surface Design in 2015. After my degree I moved back home to Bristol, setting up my own ceramics studio called Wood Studio after meeting a retired potter who wanted to sell their equipment. Over the years it's been a ceramic studio to many other ceramic friends, but after I went full time last year it is just a private studio for me and her assistant, Naomi.
