Our Single Cultivar Okumidori has taken a Gold Award in Japan, a 2-Star Great Taste Award in the UK, and the Gold Prize (Prix d'Or) at the Japanese Tea Selection Paris. It's made from first-harvest Okumidori, a cultivar prized for its mellow richness, low bitterness and rounded flavour. The tea comes from Yame — a region known for naturally nutty, deeply savoury matcha. The leaves are shaded for over 21 days before harvest.
