Rachel Eardley lovingly designs and makes her jewellery and prints from her studio in Somerset. She established her business in 1999 and has been building it ever since selling all over the UK and internationally.
Her beautiful jewellery is created by hand cutting decommissioned coins from around the world. Selecting the coins for the miniature engraving on them, she intricately hand cuts the designs out with a piercing saw. Working the coins with sterling silver, Rachel creates contemporary and stylish jewellery with a true uniqueness. Each piece of jewellery is presented in a box which has been hand-drawn onto by Rachel with details of the coins used in the design. These can also be personalised with the year of celebration added. A fantastic gift for births, engagements, weddings or that special birthday.
Rachel has always enjoyed drawing. She has developed her 2D work in different mediums, from fine line pen and ink drawings to bold screen prints, yet all have her distinct style. Her work reflects her passion for food and interest in British traditions, from the fine Tunnocks tea cake, caravans and bowls of peas, to her alphabet range which can be personalised by her own fair hand.
