Start living Qulorefully! We're the design house and lifestyle brand bringing bright and bold, hand-drawn, and sustainable illustrations, into your home.
The year 2020 was a pretty tough year for everybody, and one which felt incrediblygrey. So much so, that we (Jason & Stuart) decided there was a real need for joyful, bright, bold and colourful designs, guaranteed to put a smile on the face of everybody.
How do you even pronounce it?
Pretty much the same as 'colour', but with a more of an 'or' sound. Try it now. Nope, that's not it, try it again. SPOT ON - we're so proud of you!
Who's behind Qulore?
Qulore was born and raised in London (Islington to be precise), a passion project between acclaimed illustrator, Stuart Patience (The Guardian, Wallpaper* magazine, the New York Times, to name just a few clients...), and Jason Ehrhart, a guy with literally zero illustration skills but a background in Brand & Marketing.

So much illustration now is digital - which is great and can be done at speed - but at Qulore, all our illustrations are hand-drawn with pen and ink and take a long time to create. We believe that pen and ink illustrations are full of character, all the imperfections coming together to tell a story about the creative concept, but also the illustrator. If Stuart has a bit of a shaky hand, it'll be captured in the artwork!
We're both interesting in folklore of all traditions, and you'll always find little references across our designs - plus there's loads of little 'Easter Eggs' to discover, so each time you look at the design, you'll find something new! If we can bring a smile to your face, then it's job done!!
